Source Audio Ultrawave Bass Multiband Processor Pedal

The Ultrawave Multiband Bass Processor explores theground-shaking potential of advance overdrive and tremolo effects with thebass. At the Ultrawave’s core is a dynamic and multi-dimensional approach knownas multiband processing. This process splits the frequency spectrum of thesignal into multiple, discrete frequency bands especially tuned to the bass, and equips each band with its own array of adjustable parameters. In the caseof overdrive, the Ultrawave splits the incoming signal and provides separatedrive and output level controls for each individual band. The result is a thickand punchy distortion with loads of unique overtones and dynamic interplay.Split the signal into 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, or 10 frequency bands, and apply any ofthe band splitting options to an exciting collection of overdrive types, including Tube, Diode, Foldback (a method of distortion often heard in theworld of synthesizers), Octave Up, Negative Flip Diode, and more.

The Ultrawave Bass also has an incredible companioncollection of innovative sound processing blocks that take bass tone into endlessmiles of unexplored territory. These are found in the Neuro Desktop Editor(free editing software for Mac or Windows) or Neuro Mobile App (free for iOSand Android). All presets created in the Neuro editors can be loaded directlyto the pedal, saved to a personal, cloud-based preset library, and published tothe Neuro Community to be easily accessed by other Ultrawave owners. The dualchannel compressor block includes studio level controls that can be placedbefore or after the drive circuits. The Multiband Tremolo block providesindividual control of each band’s tremolo depth, rate, and start time as wellas its LFO wave shape. Changing the LFO wave shape and varying the tremolostart times of each frequency band creates fantastically propulsive soundsreminiscent of sequencer or arpeggiator effects. The Morph feature explores themarvelous potential of sound morphing, which allows bassists to smoothlytransition from one thunderous tone to another with an external expressionpedal, LFO, or envelope follower. The Ultrawave also has advanced stereofeatures that can send entirely different drive effects to each of the outputsfor a wide stereo field, place the effect in two places in a signal chain, orgenerate mind-spinning, ping-pong tremolo effects. Plug in, turn up, andexplore the wonders of multiband processing built on over a decade ofrefinement and experimentation.

One Editing Experience
For ultimate rig flexibility, the Ultrawave and UltrawaveBass pedals share the exact same Neuro App and Desktop Editor, and presets canbe created and shared freely between the two pedals. So what makes them different?

It’s All About Flavor
The Ultrawave comes equipped with a “Sustain” knob on itssurface, while the Ultrawave Bass is armed with a “Mix” knob by default.Additionally, the six top-loaded presets onthe Ultrawave Bass were handcrafted by our virtuoso bass expert, NathanNavarro, whereas the presets on the Ultrawave are more geared toward midrangeguitar frequencies.

Summing up all the sounds available in the UltrawaveMultiband Processor and Ultrawave Multiband Bass Processor is a fool’s errand, but hopefully our official demo video will give you a window into The Power ofthe Ultrawave!!!

Key Features
