Rhythm Tech RT5130S-U Palma Series 12″ Djembe with Built-In Snare — Selvato Finish
The Rhythm Tech RT5130S-U Palma Series Djembe is the first djembe in the world to feature an internal snare that activates and deactivates with the flip of a single lever — expanding what a single hand drum can do in any performance setting. Built on a high-quality PVC shell, this 12-inch djembe delivers warm highs, punchy mids, and thunderous lows with added projection and a stronger attack than traditional wood-shell designs.
For drummers and percussionists searching for the best djembe with a built-in snare for live performance, the RT5130S-U handles everything from traditional tribal grooves to contemporary backbeat patterns without switching instruments. The exclusive Palma Snare Switch enables instant transitions — ideal for drummers who need a wide range of sonic textures from a single instrument in rehearsal, on stage, or in the studio.
Top-side drum key tuning hardware eliminates the need for special wrenches, making head changes and tune-ups fast even mid-session. The ergonomic rim placement is designed for extended playing comfort, whether the drum is held between the knees, mounted on a stand, or worn on a strap. The striking Selvato finish and durable PVC extruded shell reflect Rhythm Tech’s commitment to professional-grade world percussion that performs as well as it looks.
Key Features of the Rhythm Tech Palma Series Djembe with Snare
