RDL D-NLC1 Dante Network Level Remote Control Wall Plate
The RDL D SERIES NLC1 is a remote control that providesvolume control at single or multiple locations. The NLC1 connects to a digitalnetwork that may include compatible RDL audio and control modules as well asDante devices from RDL and other manufacturers. Level is displayed on a 15segment LED string. Each NLC1 operates as a Controller or Satellite controlpermitting up to eight units to work together to adjust levels. Setup isaccomplished in a web-browser session hosted by the NLC1.
Volume may be configured to adjust a group of outputs or toadjust one output. If grouped outputs are set to different attenuation levels,the output level offsets in dB are preserved while adjusting the group level.Audio Mute is provided on one button with an associated status indicator. TheMute condition is cancelled by pressing the Mute button again or by pressingeither the Up or Down button.
Each NLC1 is configured either as a Controller or aSatellite. When operating as the Controller, up to 7 satellite controls can bepointed at the Controller which arbitrates the requests and sends singlecommands to the devices the Controller is adjusting. When operating as aSatellite, the NLC1 sends commands to one Controller which relays them to thecontrolled device(s). Compatible RDL products receive and respond to commandsfrom up to 8 Controllers. The NLC1 may serve as a Satellite to another NLC1 orto an -NMC1.
When adjustments are not being made, the NLC1 LED stringdisplay is dimmed. It returns to normal intensity upon any button push. Theunit may be configured to lock after 30 seconds of inactivity. When Volume islocked, a button push sequence is required to unlock the unit. The unlocksequence is programmable by the installer and may be reprogrammed if required.
The NLC1 provides straightforward pushbutton Volume controlwith selectable muting in an intuitive and attractive interface that ispowerful, yet simple to operate.
