The cause of this interference lies mostly in groundpotential differences, which result in stray DC currents via the audio lines.The solution is to place a transformer between the two devices to isolate theground line. Palmer enz has two of these transformers for its two channels. Itsinputs and outputs are RCA sockets, which are common for HiFi and consumerequipment.
