Laird CAT5XTRM CAT5e Extreme Ethernet Cable
Laird CAT5XTRM is an Ethernet cable designed for indoor and outdoor data networking environments. It enables Category 5e signal transmission for networked devices, supporting data and power delivery workflows. This makes it ideal for installations where environmental durability and connector protection are critical.
The cable is constructed using Belden 7923A paired CAT5e DataTuff twisted-pair cabling with a UV-resistant PVC jacket. It terminates with Neutrik etherCON NE8MX-1 connectors that protect standard RJ45 interfaces during deployment. The design supports repeated connection cycles in demanding environments.
In use, the cable supports reliable Ethernet connectivity in fixed or temporary installations. It helps maintain performance in outdoor, industrial, and event-based setups. This supports dependable networking where standard Ethernet cables may be vulnerable to damage.
