The two-piece tester includes a transmitter (male) and areceiver unit (female) with Kings Tri-Loc connectors, which are housed in heavyduty, weather-resistant, powder-coated steel boxes. The CTX-TRIAX-TXT is readyto use with no calibration required. Simply plug the cable to be tested intothe respective connectors and switch the unit on by pressing the red button onthe transmitter unit. The cable status is instantly displayed. Operates off ofone 9-volt battery (installed).
