BOSS FS-5U Momentary Footswitch
The BOSS FS-5U is a passive momentary footswitch engineered for hands-free control of compatible BOSS and Roland equipment. Functioning as an unlatch-type switch, the FS-5U is active only while depressed and releases the moment your foot lifts — making it the correct choice for tap tempo, momentary effects, or punch-in recording. No batteries or power supply required.
The FS-5U connects via any standard 1/4-inch mono guitar cable, eliminating the need for proprietary cables. Its momentary character makes it a natural fit for tap tempo functions on delay and reverb pedals, manual drum machine triggering, and punch-in/punch-out recording on loop stations.
Compatible with BOSS compact pedals, Roland guitar amps, looper pedals, multi-effects units, and a broad range of other compatible equipment. Its rugged metal housing and compact footprint allow easy pedalboard integration.
